Site: LA3, Land west of Hemel Hempstead
Client: Barratt David Wilson Homes and Taylor Wimpey North Thames
This is the largest development site in Dacorum Council’s Local Plan. ARP are working closely with the development team to bring it forward comprising a hybrid permission for a total of 1,100no. homes, primary school, local centre and community facilities.
Working to an agreed Planning Performance Agreement arranged with Dacorum Council, ARP are working to coordinate 3no. reserved matters applications for the delivery of 750no. homes and the infrastructure elements of the scheme which have outline permission. In preparation for submission ARP have arranged, attended and managed an extremely well attended public exhibition and are progressing pre-application discussions with key stakeholders.
In tandem with this work we are also coordinating, preparing and submission all the necessary discharge of planning condition submissions necessary to enable the implementation of the development on the ground. All aspects of the planning work need to be delivered to tight deadlines with ARP managing weekly team and officer meetings to ensure all aspects of the planning work are properly addressed.
